I just heard of Cherie's passing and my heart goes out to all of you. I worked with her from 1997 - 2000 and she made coming to work a joy. What an exceptional woman! Her wonderful wit and intelligence were second to none (and in a place like Caltech, that's quite a statement!). My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
